THIRD ALBUM UPDATED
: JUNE 01 2004 : "Last mastering session"
The
first mastering featured 10 songs but finally there should be a
few changes and probably only 9 tunes. Among the tracks, you will
find Ange ("Le soir du Diable") and Witchfinder General's
(Friends of Hell) covers! "Chimères" will be the
title of the album and it should last more than 60 minutes... Track
listing (in no particular order): Dusty Pictures; Master of Magic;
Life on the Run; Le cercle des Fées; Never never land; Winds
of Sorrow; Le soir du Diable; Friends of Hell; Crystal Ball.
We
just finished the mastering a few weeks ago (May 2004) and we still
have to work on some graphics that will be included in this new
opus.
DOOM
SHALL RISE II UPDATED
: APRIL 07 2004 : "What a great festival!...." NORTHWINDS
was on the bill of Doom Shall Rise II, the great european doom festival.
It took place on April 2nd and 3rd in The Chapel, Göppingen,
Germany. 14 bands including the American legends Penance and the
fantastic swedish band Count Raven, a big influence of Northwinds.
Northwinds played on the second day.

HAWKWIND
TRIBUTE One
more collaboration for Northwinds! The band will be featured on
a Hawkwind tribute called "Daze of the Underground" to
be released on Black Widow Records soon... Northwinds has chosen
to do a mix with 2 Hawkwind tunes: "Images" and "Ejection".
The track has been recorded in October 2003 in THD Studios (Montreuil).
The tribute will consist of a box 3LP + a poster limited edition
and will feature bands like Tim Blake, Universal Totem Orchestra,
ST 37, Beggar's Farm, Sigh, Simon House, Darxtar, The Black, Amorphis...
